Three years ago, in the summer of 2021, a book was being written in the back room of a beach condo in Florida. To the author, this book was a personal project at first. The product of a realization that turned into a calling. However, as the plot developed, the single book became a trilogy and an exploration of what it means to be truly loved and have an unshakable purpose in life. The author realized that others may need this story, as she did. So, her project became a dream, which soon became a reality as she began publishing The Arlin Trilogy. 

Needing to publish these books, the author decided to start an indie publishing company. But first, the company needed a name. And soon the author found it. Within the pages of The Arlin Trilogy, there is a special ship named by its owner to commemorate a miracle and a group of soldiers called the Lion’s Sword. The Lion’s Sword is a group of people willing to fight for what is right in a world so full of darkness that it’s hard to see beyond the lies to the truth we so desperately need. That was exactly what the author wanted to do with her company. And so, with a little change to the spelling, Lyonsword Publishing was founded in 2022. 

Here at Lyonsword Publishing, we recognize the darkness in our world as well, and we strive to spread hope to others through the writing, production, and publication of books and other written media. Stories have a way of teaching us, if one is willing to learn from them. Lyonsowrd Publishing is here today because people need more hope, faith, and love to shine through the darkness of this world. We can spread those qualities to millions, uplifting others through the simple pages of books. And that is precisely what we intend to do.
