Author Life Musings – Cosmere Fan Problems and Fun Characters I Will Keep Secret for Now

Hello and welcome to Author Life Musings, the part of my blog where I share random thoughts about writing and reading. For example, I had a moment the other day when I was reading a book, and this old beggar with white hair and mysterious abilities showed up at just the right moment. I had a fleeting rush of excitement that I had found Hoid in another story! And then I was like, " Oh, wait, this is not a Cosmere book.” I was very tired.

However, it got me thinking about this character that I am currently working on. He will remain a secret until further notice, but he is so fun to write, and he is kind of unhinged, and that is all I will say for now. But my not-Hoid sighting reminded me of him, and now I want to write and read at the same time. It’s a problem.
